GCIHS would like to inform you that our admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year has closed!<\/span><\/p>\n

Below are the standard application instructions even though the process of the 2026\/2027 has now been halted.<\/p>\n

Instructions for Online Application<\/h2>\n

  1. Read our Admission Brochure<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Follow the link to fill out our online Admission Form<\/a> .<\/li>\n
  3. You will be able to save a draft of your submission and\/or edit the submission up to the application deadline.<\/li>\n
  4. Please complete all sections of the online application form. Kindly note that you will have an opportunity to edit the submitted form before the end of September<\/span>, 2026.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Admission Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Passport Photo<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Copy of birth certificate\/passport biodata Page<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Last six terms academic reports from child\/ward school (Not transcript) including that of the applicant\u2019s current year\/grade (E.g. when applying for year 10, the academic reports for years 8 and 9 will be required. When applying for year 8, then the academic reports for years 6 and 7 will be required)<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Payment slip for application fee<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Campus Tours<\/b><\/p>\n

      We are open on weekdays between  8:00 am to 3:00 pm for tours.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Entrance Exams & Interviews<\/h2>\n

      The Date for the next Junior School and Senior School Entrance Exams (English, Maths and Science) is the last <\/span>Friday of September<\/b>, 2026<\/b>, at the school\u2019s SOC, Campus, on the Dodowa-Afienya Road.  Year 7 \/ JHS 1 Entrance exams will be in Maths and English Language only.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Senior School Entrance Exams will be in English, Maths and Science.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Applicants for the <\/span>Advanced Level programme (A\u2019Level)<\/b>, can apply now and submit their IGCSE\/GCE Ordinary Level results to the school immediately they are released in August 2026 to <\/span>admissions@gcihs.edu.gh<\/b>. Interviews will be conducted for only qualified applicants in late August 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Our main entrance exam was written on Saturday, 16<\/b>th<\/b> May, 2026, however, a new exam is scheduled at regular intervals<\/b> at the school. The standard time is 10:00am.<\/b><\/p>\n

      Payment Information for Application<\/h2>\n

      The cost of the application is One Thousand Ghana Cedi’s (GHS 1,000.00<\/strong>), which can be paid into the schools Ecobank account at any Ecobank branch, via the Ecobank Mobile App or type the short code *725# on any mobile device (Use the GCIHS school code: 32656856)<\/span>. Application fees are non-refundable, please make all neccessary enquiries before payment.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The bank slip\/transaction notification should be attached to the online form.<\/span><\/p>\n
